It took a while as Mother Nature decided to extend winter well into May, in fact, so much so that Squaw Valley and Kirkwood will be letting skiers hit the slopes this weekend. On our last trip to Tahoe, we hiked up past High Camp at Squaw and found a good amount of snow cover with temperatures dropping well below 50 with winds kicking in around 2pm. Tahoevibe.com is a website dedicated to helping visitors, and locals alike, figure out what's "really going on" around the Tahoe Basin with an emphasis on live shows and events on both the North Shore and South Lake. We'll even fit Reno in soon. Sincerely, The Vybemaster. |
